Where Ive been

Over the years Humans started acquiring unique abilities...
Some people acquired them naturally, and others not as naturally...
the people who couldn't get abilities for themselves where deemed useless and a waste of space.
Thats how the exterminators were formed a corporation that hired people to kill the boring useless people.
As you could imagine this isn't the funnest job on the planet therefor the employees try to make it fun. with a playful competition among the groups of exterminators, finding new ways to kill for fun!!
